Mark Hyman on the 10-Day Detox: recommends

Hyman runs a 10-day elimination reset that cuts sugar, grains, beans, dairy, gluten, alcohol, and caffeine, then reintroduces one food group at a time over three days each. He says he personally repeats the program two to three times a year.

The detox includes a supplement stack Hyman describes as part of the reset: magnesium citrate (300–600 mg/day, for constipation), magnesium glycinate at night for relaxation, vitamin D (3,000–5,000 IU), fish oil/omega-3s, plus NAC and vitamin C. The rules also include a 12–14-hour overnight fast and sleep-hygiene measures (no food within three hours of bed, fixed bedtime, screens off early, bedroom at 65–68°F).

Hyman cites self-reported program results from a 600-person group — roughly 4,000 pounds lost in 10 days and a 62% symptom drop — which he presents as his own figures, not a controlled trial. This site repeats those only as Hyman’s stated claims. (Hyman’s position; not this site’s medical advice.)
