Max Lugavere's MAHA / RFK Jr. HHS engagement (voice, not office)

Advancing

Max Lugavere is a MAHA-aligned wellness voice rather than a government official — he holds no formal HHS role. In a September 2026 appearance on Dr. Will Cole’s show, he described visiting the White House and meeting RFK Jr., discussing what the meeting “was actually like” per the episode page. This follows his 2024 record: he was a panelist at Sen. Ron Johnson’s “American Health and Nutrition: A Second Opinion” roundtable alongside Jordan Peterson and Vani Hari, and he told Fox News Radio that RFK Jr. was “the most qualified candidate” to head HHS.

In the same Cole interview, Lugavere commented on the new federal dietary guidelines — protein recommendations rising roughly 50% to about 1.2 g/kg/day, saturated fat capped around 10%, and a full-fat dairy “comeback” — which he framed as vindication of his long-held positions.
